Veterinarian & Founder, Graceful Journey LLC
I'm a licensed veterinarian practicing in the Denver area and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. Over the course of my career, I've cared for animals through nearly every stage of life — but it's end-of-life care that has become my true passion.
There is something deeply meaningful about being present with a family in one of their hardest moments: offering steady support, answering questions with honesty, and helping create a space that feels calm and loving rather than clinical.
Our companion animals give us their whole hearts for as long as they're with us. They are too pure not to be given a peaceful ending — and their families deserve just as much grace and comfort as they say goodbye. It's an honor to walk alongside you during this time, and my hope is simple: a peaceful passing for your pet, and a peaceful goodbye for you.
Proudly serving communities within a 20–30 mile radius of the Denver metro area.
Homes within approximately 20 miles of the Denver metro area are included in standard visit pricing.
Homes between 20–30 miles from the Denver metro area can still be accommodated. An additional fee applies for homes over 20–30 miles out. Contact me to confirm availability for your location.

From your first call to aftercare, I'll walk with you through every step.
Email me to talk through your pet's situation and schedule a visit at a time that works for your family. We can schedule a call if that is more convenient for you.
I arrive at your home, answer any questions, and make sure your pet and family feel comfortable before we begin.
A sedative is given first, allowing your pet to relax fully and gently enter a deep sleep, surrounded by familiar comfort.
I'll help you understand your options for aquamation, cremation, or at-home burial, and support you along the way.
I partner with two trusted Denver-area providers so your family can choose the aftercare option that feels right: aquamation or cremation.
Aquamation (also called alkaline hydrolysis or water cremation) is a gentle, nature-inspired alternative to traditional flame cremation. Instead of fire, the process uses warm water, gentle alkali, and time to return your pet's body to its natural elements — the same result as cremation, without flame or fossil fuels. It uses up to 90% less energy, produces zero air emissions, and results in a soft, pH-neutral ash that's gentle and safe to keep, scatter, or bury.
For aquamation services, I work with Water Bridge Aquamation, a dedicated pet aftercare provider based in Denver, CO. After your pet's passing, they handle the aquamation process with care, and return your pet's ashes and keepsakes to you.
Every family also receives thoughtful keepsakes to remember their pet by:
Once your pet's aquamation begins, Water Bridge Aquamation lets me know, and I'll reach out to keep you gently updated. When your pet's ashes and keepsakes are ready, I personally pick them up and bring them to your veterinarian's office, so you can collect them whenever feels right for you. If you'd like additional keepsakes beyond what's included, visit their website and contact them directly.
I'll walk you through this option and coordinate the details, so you can simply focus on being with your pet.
Visit Water Bridge AquamationCremation is a traditional, time-honored aftercare option that uses high heat to gently return your pet's body to its natural elements. It can be done privately, so your pet's ashes are returned to your family alone, or communally, where pets are cremated together and ashes are not individually returned.
For cremation services, I work with Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services, a dedicated pet aftercare provider serving the greater Denver metro area.
If requested, I'll take the following keepsakes for you at the time of euthanasia, before I leave your home:
I'll coordinate directly with Lasting Paws on the option you've chosen, so you don't have to. Once your pet is in their care, your pet's ashes can be returned to your veterinarian's office, or you're welcome to pick them up in person at their Centennial location: 6259 S Troy Cir, Centennial, CO 80111.
You'll also receive a gentle follow-up email from PawsEtrack, giving you 48 hours to share any additional wishes, such as extra keepsakes or a different urn selection.
I'll walk you through this option and coordinate the details, so you can simply focus on being with your pet.

Email NowDr. Grace was incredibly compassionate and caring during one of the hardest moments I’ve ever had to go through. She gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my sweet Gus, and I never once felt rushed or pressured. She treated him with such incredible respect, gentleness, and care, and that meant more to me than I can put into words. Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking, but having someone so compassionate there made an unbearable moment a little easier. I would recommend Dr. Grace to absolutely anyone. She has a truly special way of caring for both the pet and the family.
Dr. Grace helped me through one of the hardest goodbyes I’ve ever had to make. I had Ranger through my entire 20s, so he wasn’t just my dog — he was there through so many chapters of my life and felt like a part of my family. Dr. Grace made it easier to say goodbye while still giving me the space and time I needed. She was incredibly comforting, patient, and empathetic, and I could tell how much she genuinely cared about Ranger. I’m so grateful he was treated with such kindness and dignity. I honestly can’t recommend Dr. Grace enough.
Dr. Grace was absolutely wonderful with our family and our cat during such a difficult time. Saying goodbye to a pet that has been part of your family for years is never easy, especially when you’re trying to be strong for everyone else. She was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate with all of us. Most importantly, she treated our cat with the same love and respect that we would have wanted for him ourselves. She explained everything clearly, never rushed us, and made an incredibly painful experience feel peaceful and dignified. Our whole family is so grateful to Dr. Grace. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their pet to be cared for with genuine compassion and respect.
